Mike Jones is an Arizona native with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, emphasizing accounting, from the University of Phoenix. He is an experienced commercial real estate lender and investor. Mike started his career in commercial banking in 2004 and worked for several banks and finance companies while living in Southern California. During his decade-long career in commercial banking, he underwrote and presented various commercial loan types, including C&I, asset-based lines of credit, warehouse and discount lines, owner-occupied and investment real estate loans in industrial, office, retail, multi-family, and seniors housing asset classes. Mike returned to Arizona in 2018 to be close to family and further his career.
Prior to joining B.E. Lending, Mike led a small team of seniors housing real estate professionals in underwriting the acquisition of and managing a $1 billion seniors housing investment portfolio, closing 35 seniors housing real estate investments on behalf of retail investors. Mike’s role involved comprehensive oversight, from bidding to disposition, including structuring Reg D investments for accredited investors, which sold through a nationwide network of broker-dealers. Additionally, Mike consulted on the establishment and founding of a sister management company that operates 21 seniors housing properties for over 2,000 residents.
Mike is a devoted husband and father of seven children, spending his weekends at various extracurricular activities and teaching a Sunday school class at his church.
